We loved our stay at The Poppy. The location is perfect, just minutes from the center of Georgetown and close to all the attractions. The owner, Justin, was always available and gave us excellent recommendations for vegetarian and vegan dining options in the city. The personal touch at this guesthouse made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The Avery Georgetown Washington is located in such a great area, in the heart of Georgetown. Adjacent to a neighborhood park with a weekly Farmer's market, the location offers a charming and convenient experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with extremely comfortable beds. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant stay. The complimentary breakfast, although simple, includes delicious pastries and fresh fruit. the hotel provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for budget travelers, with its ideal location and attentive service.

The water pressure in the bathroom can be lacking, and there have been some issues with getting hot water consistently.
